I recently discovered StumbleUpon … yes, I know that I’m a little behind, thank you. The categories I have it set to stumble upon: film, philosophy, sociology, and ethics. An interesting amalgam of topics to represent my wide array of interests (plus I figure they would have interesting crossover).
So far, at least in terms of movies, I haven’t found anything to really catch my interest. I’ve picked up a few interesting tricks of the trade of cinematography and such, but nothing mindblowing. I figured it would be great for factoid fodder, and so far all I can really offer you is this diagram. I totally agree with it, and I got a nice chuckle out of it.
Let’s just hope “Batman 3” doesn’t add another villain…

Who is the second picture in for Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer?
I’m guessing Galactus that was taken from another form of the story. Would’ve been a bit weird to just put a cloud in the picture.
Great chart here, but this is very true. It sucks that this is what always happens to these super-hero films. They start off so good, but then just fade away into crap.
Very amusing but there are quite a few franchises that were killed by one villain alone. “Superman Returns” even had a good Lex Luthor pitted against the Man of Steel. Also, I think it’s a little preposterous to call “Fantastic 4” awesome.
While I did have a chuckle, can’t really say Elektra was a “villain” in Daredevil, even if she does try to kill the protagonist. But then again, I’m someone one sees Daredevil (especially the director’s cut) as an entertaining movie and very re-watchable.
